The King of Rock and Roll made headlines years ago when he was a crowd favorite during his musical career that ended in 1977. Elvis Presley may have passed away 41 years ago, but the King lives on in the town of Friedberg, Germany.

Presley is no stranger to Friedberg. According to National Public Radio, Presley was stationed there from 1958-1960 when he was in the U.S. Army. Therefore, the town decided to pay tribute to him in a unique way.

This German town decided to pay tribute to the King by putting traffic lights in the shape of Presley throughout the town. For red lights, Elvis seems to be standing by a microphone, but for green it shows him dancing on his toes.

Friedberg and the neighboring town, Bad Nauheim, are places where many Presley fans go to see the house he stayed in during his deployment and to even attend the European Elvis Festival.

From traffic lights to a festival, this town is the destination for devout fans of Presley.
