Melina Testin, A&E Cartoonist

720 days of high school:

716 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. For me, once a year, the lunch bell called for a wild adventure through the Xavier kitchen, resulting in a steaming tray of school lunch. Just like those four lunches that completely defined my high school experience, there were so many amazing moments I never pictured for myself as a 14-year-old walking into the Xavier cafeteria for the first time. I never imagined all of the amazing friends, classes, and opportunities I would have in high school. I certainly did not envision my time as The Xpress Cartoonist perfectly culminating in a pun about salisbury steak!
