Get wrapped up in this new fresh restaurant. This week I went to a restaurant on the southeast side of town, called Freshwraps. It is fairly new and is located at 2843 Mount Vernon Road SE, near All Saints. I have been wanting to try Freshwraps since it opened in July.

Right when I walked in, the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness. It was very well organized and ecofriendly. Next, I noticed the modern furniture. The chairs were green, orange, white, and black. On the walls, they had pictures of local landmarks and farms, which added a very nice touch to the organic feel. They also had a few tv screens so you will not miss sports or the news while eating. The menus were easy to see and they were near the entrance, so I had time to think about what I wanted before I got to the counter, which I liked.

The menu had three different categories: supreme wraps, wraps, and salads. The line moved very quickly and efficiently. I ordered a supreme veggie with a garden veggie tortilla. However, there are many other choices for tortilla flavors. The wrap was all mixed up. It was not in layers, so I had the same flavor in every tasty bite.  The food was in a good portion. One con is the price. Salads are $7.95-8.95 and the wraps (including supreme wraps) range from $6.95-9.95, so it can get expensive. However, I think that it is worth it.

Freshwraps definitely earns its name because it is garden fresh and crisp. I would definitely come by again to try the other wraps. It was a quick and easy stop, and I had a lot of food leftover.

The people were friendly, they kept a conversation, and gave me a big welcoming smile. Overall, it was great service.  I would give it 4.5 out of 5 stars because of the great food and great service, but the price can be expensive.
